The Terminal Automation Coordinator will be responsible for installation and support of TopTech Terminal Automation and the Dearman Terminal Automation Software solutions.  Currently there are 51 TopTech Systems with 10 TopTech UAP to Dearman conversions.  These critical installations are currently being tied to the Enterprise E-Stream system.


  • Responsible for support of automation equipment at liquid terminals in multiple states. Support includes a rotating on-call schedule.
  • Responsible for review of engineering and system design of liquid terminals for new projects and/or upgrades.
  • Create test transactions and runs tests to find errors and confirm that software meets specifications.
  • Responsible for installation of new/upgrades to terminal automation equipment and software.






Requirements

 


The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:


  • A minimum of a B.S degree or 10 years' experience on implementation of process control and related systems in gas treating, processing and pipeline facilities with at least 3 years terminal automation experience.
  • Knowledge of the general design and operation of a liquid pipeline distribution facility.
  • Knowledge of Windows, Linux operating system and MySQL is required.
  • Knowledge of automation devices such as temperature transmitter, pressure transmitter, FMC's Accuload, Toptech's Multiload and PLCs and Understand ICS communication protocols.

  • Knowledge of Allen-Bradley and Direct Logic PLCs is preferred

  • Must be able to lead and take complete responsibility of project planning, scheduling cost control, and project administration with limited supervision.

  • Must be able to communicate well with external stakeholders and other business units

  • Must be able to lift a minimum 50 lbs and climb a ladder.

  • Ability to travel up to 15%.
